Five counties of Texas are in the top 10 job markets in a new survey. The survey was conducted based on job opportunities and quality of life of the 25 US counties.
Here are the lists of the top counties that the job opportunities are high.
1. Virginia's Loudon County.
It is called the "Data Centre Alley" because of the well-known computer firms that are residing in the area like Verizon Business, AOL and many others. This high tech firm is a big help in boosting the job opportunity in the area.
2. South Texas' own Fort Bend County.
Rank second because of firms like Schlumberger and CVR Energy that are in the oil industry.
3. Williamson County.
This county ranks third because of Dell a Computer Company who hires 13,000 employees in Austin's "super suburbs".
4. The Woodlands and Montgomery County.
A big thanks to Energy firms that put The Woodlands into fourth rank in terms of job opportunities. Other companies also contributed like Anadarko Petroleum is noted for building a skyscraper for 1,700 workers by 2014 and Exxon Mobil's 385-acre campus will bring some 2,000 jobs from other states.
5. Douglas County, Colorado.
Rank fifth and strategically located between Denver and Colorado Springs.
6. Collin County.
Thanks to Denbury Resources creating hundreds of jobs with its oil and gas campus expansion in Plano even as big employers J.C. Penney and HP have downsized.
7. Denton County
The CNN survey credits Peerless Manufacturing's expansion plans and University of North Texas' boost to local economies in anchor towns of Flower Mound, Lewisville and Denton.
The Top 10 rounds out with Prince William County, Va., and its proximity to the D.C. Beltway; Suffolk County, Va., with the Navy's four commands, plus a giant Planters peanut processing centre; and finally, Tennessee's Williamson County ranks with Viacom, Verizon Wireless, Nissan Americas and United Health Group.

Remember that getting the job you dreamed of is not an easy bunny. You need to work hard for it. Use all your resources and plan for it.It is not enough that you had the experience. In this time of crisis where all people badly need a job being unique and resourceful is the one will be hired.
